Going Gonzo – Wonder Boy

Friday, 26th April 2019.

Friday nights eh!

So far, it’s been successful. I played little RDR2. Sean saw me online so we had a catch up. We laughed about the crazy times. I drank a few Corona’s.

Now I’m continuing watching Vexed and smoking a fatty.

It’s the little things.

I’m not sure I just wrote that. It didn’t sound like me. Did it?

Narcissism rules! (affirmation. Repeat three times).

Things have gone in a weird direction recently and I’m unsure of the destination.

I don’t like the smell of it.

I need to do some crossroadin’.

Flip the pancakes.

As someone clever once said:

Face front you got the future,

Shining like a piece if gold.

But I swear as we get closer,

It looks now like a lump of coal.

Usual Saturday nuisance. I’m at Carter’s now. Nothing’s happening. Just chillin’.

I’ve decided to get my previous blogs printed. For o other reason than I can. At least when I’m dead someone might find a copy and have a chuckle at my backwardness.

I’ve found a place that will print me 20 odd copies in paperback. The first book will be the THE BEGINNING.

It’s everything up until I started the first titled blog. Then I will compile the other blogs into separate books. It’s pretty time/brain consuming. For me, this is a good thing.

Wen my mind can’t wander, it can’t get into mischief.

In the space on an hour or so, I’ve watched the end of Grease 2 and the last 40 minutes of Mad Max 2. Now I’m watching Mission:Impossible 3.

If you were wondering about Grease 2. It goes back to endless summer holidays where me, Kai and Garrod had nothing to do and only a handful of VHS cassettes. In fact, it boils down to one phrase.

“40 long playing albumins”.

Adrian Zmed.

He doesn’t gain his cult status for Grease 2 but does for playing O’Neil in Bachelor Party.

Probably one of the greatest films of the era and the first sign of the comic genius, that is Tom Hanks.

The usual Sunday recovery.

Layed around. Drank a little. Watched TV. Had dinner.

Then in the evening, Louis asked if I would watch The Life Aquatic with him. Which I did.

I think I fell asleep because the next thing I knew it was midnight. I turned everything off and went to sleep.
