It all feels very familiar. Like a warm blanket. The six twenty nine train to Waterloo. Coffee by the little fella at the station. Headphones,……
Just to make it really like the old days, we had MaccyD’s. It’s like I’d never left.
Onwards to London Wall. A little job which I was hoping would be an extra payment but we are way too early and it will be done In half an hour.
I wasn’t expecting any work today so it’s still a bonus.
A sensible time to be going home. I should catch the 15.20. Good times.

The couple of days work has enabled me to pay a couple of credit cards and given me a positivity I haven’t felt in a good few months. The result; achieving some basic physical maintenance and setting myself up to continue with my novel. Journal of a desperate man.
I doubt that will be the title in the end.
I’m currently sitting in the Retreat. A Guinness drunk. As a reverse of the usual, it’s time for me to cheer Carter up.

Monday, 20th May 2019.
Time passes. I went to Carter’s and did her washing. I also watched the last Game Of Thrones.
It would never end in a way that would please everyone but it was acceptable.
No work today and no work tomorrow. I’ve been working on my novel. I’m going to try and get a couple of thousand words down tomorrow.
Tuesday, 21st May 2019.
My book turned up today. It was less exciting than I thought due to the fact that no one will ever read it. It looks nice though.
The question is, what to do with them now?
